From the Bacher’stay we pedal our way up on the asphalt road to the start of the toboggan slope. We follow the forest road until Ochsenalm hut, where we take a break. There, our high altitude tour above Brixen begins. Reaching the mountain station of the gondola lift Plose, we can look forward to three thrilling downhill trails back to the starting point. The first one is trail no. 4, the most difficult one. It is part of the famous CAIDOM downhill race. Furthermore, there is the demanding Sky Line and trail no. 17. Attention: here, you need to be capable of handling sharp bends! All three trails end at the valley station of the gondola lift Plose, from there we ride back to the starting point. In high seasons (and in the evenings too) you should avoid this tour, since there are many hikers on the path.

We start early in the morning at the Bacher’stay heading towards the valley station of the gondola lift Plose. Attention: first ascent at 9 am. Reaching the valley station, we proceed on trail no. 17c towards Skihütte and Schatzerhütte. Shortly after that, we keep to the right and pedal past Peitlerknappenhütte hut and reach a forest road (no. 15). Afterwards, we turn to hiking trail no. 8, until we have to cross a stream and pedal up to Würzjoch mountain hut. Leaving the hut behind, we take trail no. 8 until reaching trail no. 1 and proceed up to Maurerberghütte hut. Arriving there, we have earned us some delicious refreshment. Afterwards, we head towards Lüsen Saddle and the Glittensee Lake. At the lake, we keep to the right and take trail no. 10, where we shortly before the Astjoch Saddle turn to track no. 12 towards Kreuzwiesenhütte hut.
Arriving there, we can take a break and proceed on a relatively easy downhill until Flitt. From there, we pedal on the comfortable, but long asphalt road back to St. Andrä and St. Leonhard.
