We’re starting in Brixen and follow the cycling track along the Eisack river towards south. In doing so, we pass Albeins and a small biotope before reaching the small medieval city of Klausen. If you like, you can take a break and sip on a nice cup of cappuccino. We’re proceeding on the cycling track including soft ascents by turns passing Waidbruck and Kardaun and cycle another kilometers along the river into the historic centre of Bozen.
Now we’ve earned us some refreshment, a tangy aperitif alias aperitivo!

We follow the cycling track along the river towards north, past Vahrn and the Vahrn lake (or stop there and take a quick bath) until Franzensfeste fortress. Turning right to Pustertal Valley, we reach the small village Mühlbach after a short ascent. We leave the village behind and follow the Pustertal Cycling track after the Mühlbacher Klause ruin along the Rienz river, past the bucolic localities Niedervintl, St. Sigmund and Kiens until Ehrenburg Castle. We bike on to St. Lorenzen, leave the Bruneck Castle behind us and enter the city of Bruneck.
