Whether you treat yourself to something from our breakfast basket in the morning, open a bottle of wine in the evening, or grab a little something from the Bacher’s shop during the day – we focus on products from the region. Fresh, seasonal, consciously selected – from people we know. From farms that belong to South Tyrol just as much as our mountains – and that make your sustainable holiday in South Tyrol truly authentic.

Bacher is furnished with high-quality, locally produced materials. LED lighting in all rooms ensures reduced energy consumption. In addition, we generate a large part of our electricity ourselves – thanks to our own photovoltaic systems on the roof. Any additional energy we need comes from Alperia’s green power, helping us keep our carbon footprint as low as possible.

To reduce the impact on the environment, we promote sustainable mobility. With the South Tyrol Guest Pass, you can use all public transport free of charge during your stay – including buses, trains, and several mountain lifts. For everyone who prefers to get around on two wheels, there are secure parking spaces for bikes and e-bikes, including a free charging station. And for guests with an electric car, we provide two charging stations on site – simple and convenient to use for a small fee.

For us, sustainability is an ongoing process. We are constantly working to improve our measures and find new ways to further reduce our ecological footprint. Because we believe that many small steps together can achieve great things.
