Our last name is actually Gostner, but everyone simply calls us the Bacher’s – that’s how we’re known around here. We’re not classic hoteliers, but a family-run apartment hotel in South Tyrol with heart, intuition, and a big dose of South Tyrolean warmth.
With us, you don’t stay anonymous – you become part of it all.
A quick chat in the morning, a drink in the evening, a smile in between.
We’re there when you like. And we give you space when you just want to be yourself.

Greti & Toni
the Bacher’s behind the scenes
Greti and Toni – a strong pair. Toni, officially Anton Gostner, is known to everyone as “Bacher Toni.” Always on the move between tools and forestry work, making sure the fire stays cozy and warm. And if you’re lucky, he’ll share one of his homemade schnapps creations with you – always with a wink. Greti is the heart and soul of the house – with a fine sense for beauty and a listening ear for everyone. Whether in the garden, around the Bacher, or chatting with you on the terrace – she’s simply there when you need her.

Christof & Michi
Since 2013, we – Michi and Christof – have been fully committed to carrying on what our family started: a family-run apartment hotel in South Tyrol, built on tradition and new ideas. Before we kicked things off, we first traveled around the globe. Through work & travel, we explored the world, chasing jobs and the next destination. And that’s exactly what showed us what we truly wanted: to come back. Back to where we belong. To the mountains. To our home. To the Bacher.
Here, each of us may have our own “territory” – but in the end, everyone just jumps in where help is needed. Who does what? Hard to say.
Because we support each other, step in when things get busy – and we know: everyone brings different strengths. And that’s exactly what makes us a team – and your hosts for an authentic holiday in the Dolomites.
